When should you have a periodic inspection and test on your property?
The IEE guidance recommends inspection and testing in the following situations:
Domestic - change of occupancy or every 10 years, whichever is sooner.
Commercial - change of occupancy or every 5 years, whichever is sooner.
Industrial and shops - every 5 years.
Caravans - every 3 years.
